Seminar Description:
The fundamental objective of purchasing is to develop a supply base that creates competitive advantage for the organization. Supply Management expands that role to encompass other interdependent functions to create a supply system that creates competitive advantage across these various functions. This program is intended to introduce the foundational knowledge, practices and procedures necessary to accomplish that goal.

Speaker: Lee Buddress, Ph.D., C.P.M.
Lee Buddress, Ph.D., C.P.M., is Director of the Supply and Logistics Management Program at Portland State University. He also teaches in the Master of International Management Program where he is responsible for the four-course Global Supply Management specialization. In addition, he has over 20 years of industrial experience in purchasing and supply management. He is a member of ISM and several other supply management professional associations. He has received teaching awards from the PSU School of Business Administration and School of Engineering as well as awards for outstanding contributions to the purchasing and supply management profession.

Cancellations received more than 5 business days prior to event date are refunded full fee minus $75 administrative fee. Cancellations received 5 business days or less prior to event date will receive 50% refund. No refunds for no shows and same day cancellations
